Xabier!

Por fin!!!  Real Madrid just got a lot classier and a lot better looking!  Xabi Alonso arrived in Madrid yesterday and the whole summer soap opera over his transfer finally came to an end.  He got a nice round of applause and a hug from his old and new teammate Arbeloa when he arrived at practice following his medical (is it just the picture, or is it that his chest hair and beard are really different colors?).  Sergio, in particular, had a really huge smile upon seeing Xabi arrive.  I’m so excited that Xabi has joined Madrid, but I’m not liking his beard – it looks like it’s at that length where it’s very prickly.  But yay, Xabi is finally a Real Madrid player!!!
