international duty picture special…

September 6, 2009

… because there is not a lot of Madrid news, with this international break going on.  So here are pictures of various Real Madrid players with their national teams!

PS – Pipita really shouldn’t be stuck in Madrid, he should be with Argentina!!!

Brazil – Kaká looks happy & I had forgotten all about Robinho’s existence until I saw this picture.

Netherlands – quick, how many current and former madridistas do you see in this photo?

Argentina – Gago’s hair is really sleek and smooth.

France – instead of football, we have rugby and music.  This is the most animated I’ve ever seen Lass!

Spain – oh Iker, if you’re going to have a beard, please at least groom it.  You’re starting to look like someone who lives in a mountain cave and hasn’t interacted with civilization in 15 years.  Xabi, on the other hand, is looking good, and I don’t mean his face.

    Iker’s profile is absolutely DIVINE!
The thing is about that beard is that when it’s shabby and ungroomed and you look at it up close, you can see that boyish youth that Iker’s face actually has. When it’s all neat and tidy, it looks like it’s good to stay and that it’s his set look for his soon to come midlife crisis. All in all, it was great while it lasted but I’m glad it’s gone. By the way, Iker has lost a LOT of weight! His face looks really skinny these days. Okay, my Iker analysis is officially over 🙂
