More details revealed on the atmosphere in Madrid’s locker room, during an interview done by Grada Blanca with Marcelo:
Q: One final thing. Recently it was published that you, along with Ramos, are the persons principally responsible for the music that is played in the locker room before games. It was said that Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” is your favorite. Why did you choose this song, and what does it mean for the team?
A: I love music. Sergio plays his songs and I play mine. We don’t only listen to the Black Eyed Peas, although the first thing we do when we enter the locker room is play this song. We have a lot of songs that we use to liven things up. Cumbias from Argentina, Brazilian music, Spanish music… a bit of everything.
Now don’t you wish they would make a documentary or something following Real Madrid on the day of the game? From the hotel of the concentración to the locker room before the game to the atmosphere in the Bernabéu… I would love to get a glimpse into the locker room before and after games!
