¡ánimo Pepe!
Pepe will be out for six months (i.e. the rest of the season), and his participation in the World Cup is also uncertain… this is the worst news for Madrid, especially since he is the anchor of their defense, and as they showed in the Valencia game, they are finally getting their act together. As Xabi said, the better we defend, the better we attack.
Media reports say Pepe was heartbroken upon receiving the news… ánimo Pepe! He received a visit from Cristiano yesterday, and realmadrid.com published messages of support for him from every single player on the first team – how nice!
And some more notes on the Valencia game – as I said before, this is probably the best that Madrid has looked this season. Congrats to Garay for his first goal with Madrid – a lot of players are opening their “accounts.” It was nice of Albiol not to excessively celebrate Madrid’s goals.
