in case you missed it – the dance edition

In case you missed it – Real Madrid vs. Zaragoza [2009-12-19].

While more serious other people may be talking about how well Madrid played vs. Zaragoza, including the six goals, these are what I remembered from the game (and pictures to accompany everything!)

one. Benzema wearing neither a short-sleeved jersey nor a long-sleeved jersey, but a short-sleeved jersey with a base layer underneath.  First time I’ve seen this.

two. Cristiano hugging everyone – I wonder if he misses Kaká?

three. how cold it was – you could see the players’ breaths.

four. the Pepe shirt the Madrid players wore before the game – it was supposed to be a surprise, but with all the Madrid newspapers blabbing about the surprise, everyone knew about it, and well it wasn’t such a surprise after all was it?

five. Gonzo, why so attached to the quilted jacket?

six. the Marcelo-Cristiano hip-hop dance following Cristiano goal number 5.
