Alma, Adán, Mallorca preview & De La Red quote

– Remember this and this?  Well Mallorca has five players with Madrid pasts:  Corrales, Borja Valero, Rubén, Óscar Díaz and Julio Álvarez.

– Meanwhile, some wise words from De La Red in the 100th issue of Men’s Health España:  “work is not everything.  The most precious thing in the world is health.  My son, for example, does not need a Ferrari.  He needs a father.”

– We also find out that Antonio Adán is quite a generous and compassionate guy:  he is one of the organizers behind the Torneo Mejorada del Campo, in which the youth teams of Madrid, Atleti, Rayo, Getafe, Alcalá and Nuevo Mejorada will participate.  Adán coaches the Nuevo Mejorada team, with proceeds to benefit needy kids from Mejorada del Campo (a town in the community of Madrid where he’s from).  This is the first edition of the tournament, and will take place on Saturday morning.  Ex-Madrid player and canterano Dani Parejo is also involved.
