Haiti update
Remember the video that Kaká, Sergio & Iker shot to commiserate with Haiti, and how I said more needed to be done? Well Kaká, Marcelo and Iker have sort of stepped up to the plate.
Kaká and Marcelo will participate in a charity game on Jan. 25 in Lisbon between friends of Zidane & (original) Ronaldo and a squad composed of players/ex-players from Benfica. Kaká will be representing Ronaldo, who is unable to participate due to the schedule of Corinthians. Kaká is also an ambassador for the World Food Program, and has encouraged donations via Twitter to Haiti via this link.
Meanwhile, Iker has filmed a video for PLAN España, with which he habitually collaborates, to draw attention to the children affected by the earthquake. He also signed some shirts, which will probably be auctioned off with proceeds going to Haiti. You can donate to PLAN here (in Spanish).
Come on, rest of Real Madrid, you can do more! Look at what NBA players are doing! I’m just saying this because all of you have so much influence on people around the world, and you can do so much good.
