Or so we hope.

I often wonder what if would be like if my job were to follow Madrid’s players around and see what they do with their time…  apparently that’s the job of some guys over at Marca, because yesterday they caught some of the Madrid players having lunch together.

Apparently, Raúl goes hunting for partridges, and whatever he manages to successfully shoot, he brings to the Mesón Txistu to have them prepare for him and his friends.  Yesterday, those friends were Cristiano, Metzelder, Granero, Pepe (on his crutches) and my favorite ex-madridista Miguel Torres.

On this note, David Silva, the Valencia player who is rumored to be coming to Madrid sometime soon and one of my favorites on la selección, also ate at Mesón Txistu on Monday.

And, it appears the new fashion is to tuck your jeans under the tongue of your shoes.
