Proyecto Haití – the superficial stuff

Some observations from the presentation of Project Haiti:

– three of the four captains were present, with the missing one being Guti.  After his stellar performance at the press conference two weeks ago, you think they were afraid he might say/do/wear something inappropriate?

– Iker looked good from the ankles up, if not dressed appropriately for the event.  I mean, he couldn’t be bothered to wear a suit jacket (see the spiffy-looking Raúl & Sergio) and change out of his jeans?  At least he made the effort to shave though.  Pictures alternatively captured him looking bored and pissed off. And he was back to his Jerry Seinfeld best, once again sporting big white sneakers with his outfit.  Plus, he loves that skinny scarf.  He looked like he was at a completely different event than Florentino/Raúl/Sergio.

– but, give credit where it’s due:  according to AS, Iker will travel to Haiti following the World Cup this summer to see the tragedy up close, and to see what he can do to help.  As long as he keeps this up, he can wear whatever he wants (I still reserve the right to poke fun at him occasionally though!!)
