in case you missed it – the Sergio is a tease edition
In case you missed it – Madrid vs. Málaga [2010-01-24].
Most reports about the Liga game between Real Madrid and Málaga are focusing on Cristiano’s two goals and subsequent red card. I’m going to focus on things that are just as important, just slightly more superficial.
1. The worst part about Sergio’s goal being disallowed was that I think he was going to celebrate by lifting his shirt. That means that the decision robbed us of seeing Sergio’s very impressive abs.
2. How do I feel about Guti? The lyrics to Alicia Keys’ “Fallin'” perfectly sum it up (since we were on the subject of Alicia Keys this week): “sometimes I love ya, sometimes you make me blue.” When you are playing well and have the right attitude, as you did and had in this game with your accurate passing, I love you, but when you throw your hissy fits and have a bad attitude, I hate you. Always remember that you are a captain.
