meet the canteranos – Mateos

David Mateos is a Spanish center back who was most recently called up for the game against Depor, but didn’t end up playing. His first call up came in the 2006-07 season, for a Copa del Rey game.
David is from Galicia, but has been with Madrid’s youth teams since he was 11. At Madrid, he’s often been compared with Fernando Hierro.
