AS printed this interesting graphic in today’s edition [2010-03-24] and published a related article online showing Guti’s injury situation this season.
Basically, we see that Guti has been active for 170 days this season, compared to 89 days spent on the injured list. In other words, he’s been injured for 34% of this season so far. He’s been the Madrid player with the most injuries and most time inactive.
Guti’s had problems with his back (3 days), a mystery injury that the club did not specify (3 days), his left ankle (9 days), hamstrings (6 days), left quads (46 days), stomach (1 day), right ankle (5 days), groin (16 days), left quads (at present).
I wonder how many of those days was he really injured, since I’m sure a couple of them he spent healthy but pouting (a la his Crackòvia alter ego), and that can’t really be counted right?
