fashion fail at Valdebebas

On Tuesday, Eritrean long distance runner Zersenay Tadese visited Valdebebas and got to meet several of the players.  Pepe even asked him for his autograph!

But that was not the big news for me.  For me, it was the outfits several of the players were wearing that particular day.

First off, we have Zizou in red pants.  Maybe it is French chic, but to me, it just doesn’t work.  Santa should be the only man allowed to wear red pants (and possibly Sergio Ramos).

Then we got to see Cristiano Ronaldo.  I don’t know what it is about his jeans, and I’ve noticed this multiple times, but the rise always looks a bit awkward.  I think he pulls up his jeans too high and so they don’t fit around that area?  Or maybe he just wants to draw our attention to there.  Not necessary Cristiano, our attention has never even moved from there.

And finally, we come to Sergio.  I can’t even begin to describe that sweater with the trompe-l’œil suspenders.
