work it, boys!

Kaká, Cristiano and Raúl all attended the same event yesterday (the handover of the Champions League trophy at the beautiful Palacio de Comunicaciones or the wedding cake as I call it) in Madrid, with one of the long halls acting as their personal runway.

However, they looked like they were going to separate events by the way they were dressed.  Let’s allow our imagination to run wild for a moment.

– Raúl was on his way to close an important deal at an important business luncheon.

– Kaká was on his way to Bible study at his very conservative church (they’re going to make him button up that top button when he gets there).

– And Cristiano was on his way to kick the ball around with some kids at the park (the Retiro’s right next door!)  Mama Dolores is making him do this, to keep him away from the fame whores.

This isn’t the first time that our players have looked like they were going to separate events when they were in fact at the same event.  Maybe a bit more communication is needed?

And I wonder what Iker would have worn had he been in attendance?  I’m thinking something even sportier than what Cristiano had on.  With white sneakers.
