an afternoon (or two) of tennis

May 15, 2010

Cristiano looked much, much better on his second day of watching tennis, after sporting a rather floral outfit on the first day.  You can’t go wrong with a dark- and solid-colored sweater over a white dress shirt and tie.  The hair, as usual, looked impeccable.  I guess the special gel is working its magic.

And then one day later, Xabi showed up for tennis,  sitting with sidekicks Arbeloa and Albiol (you know, the group that has daughters with the initials “A.A.”).  Xabi was his usual irresistible self, while Albiol, for the second time in three days, looked like a 10-year-old.

Pipita was also there, sitting with Sergio Ramos, and in front of Xabi, Álvaro and Albiol.  Then along came Raúl and Mamen and all four of their sons, and Pipita said hi to one of the twins Hugo.  I’m liking his (Gonzalo) purple sweater, since the color suits him and it reminds me of Madrid!  That’s one reason why Pipita can’t leave – he looks too good in all of Madrid’s colors!

Also spotted at the Caja Mágica over the last few days were Karim Benzema, Esteban Granero and lots of former Madrid players.  And of course, Iker with Sara.  I’ll refrain from commenting on that, especially since I wasn’t able to see what shoes they were wearing.

“what shoes they were wearing” emphasis on the “they” haha. But you have to admit, it’s cute that they both have a slightly below average fashion sense (for Iker, it’s a tad bit more than slightly..).
Seriously, whenever I see someone wear that sweater, I just call it the Pep sweater. But lol, I love the guy behind Pipita and Albiol 😆
