this year’s jerseys!
The images of Madrid’s new jerseys for the 2010-11 season have been floating around the Internet for the last few days, and now we finally get to see the players in them, as well as Iker in his new jersey!
If you thought he was very orange last season, well, he’ll be very green this season. The color of the shirt in the ad reminds me of the 2002 season, and concretely, the Champions League final, because that was basically all that we saw of Iker in that season. However, the one currently being sold at the Real Madrid store is a lighter green, so that’s probably the final color. The away jersey is light blue with navy sleeves, much like the one in the 2004-05 season. I thought they were going to be dark green and dark blue? And I wonder which parts resulted from Iker’s input?
The shirts aren’t too bad, but I don’t like that sunburst effect, so it’s good that it’s quite subtle. And the collar on the home shirt looks like fangs.
