forecast: not so sunny

A post about on-field fashion, for once!

We got our first glimpse of Madrid’s jerseys for the 2010-11 season (hopefully, it’ll be a season to remember) and here are more pics, including a close-up of the sunburst that has managed to entirely convince me that I don’t like it (hence the title of the post).

I’m not a fan of the font used for the numbers, either.  It’s a bit too cartoony for me.  On the other hand, Real Madrid IS selling Guti and Raúl jerseys, so does that hint that they could both be staying?  It’s interesting to see whose jerseys the club IS NOT selling at the moment.  So far, those players are Gago, Diarrá, Lass, Marcelo, Drenthe, Garay and van der Vaart.  However, I’m inclined to believe that it’s because other players shirts sell better, rather than because they are leaving.

And how come, when FP presented José Mourinho with a shirt two days ago, it wasn’t one of these new ones?
