international update
Another update on how our players are preparing for the World Cup.
Kaká is doing so by hugging everyone on his team. Seriously, I think that’s all he’s doing in the training camp. But who can blame his teammates, I’d love a hug from Ricky! These pictures are from three consecutive days.

Portugal, meanwhile, yesterday beat Cameroon 3-1 in a friendly/warm up game which saw Sammy Eto’o ejected and Cristiano still searching for his first international goal in 16 months. On the bright side, his purple boots go much better with the white and green kit than the maroon one. He looks pretty hot in white, no?

Keep reading for more on Cristiano, Pepe, Rafa and Gonzalo!
In practice a few days ago, Cristiano joked around and Pepe showed us that he is more or less in form, despite being out for about half a year.

As for Rafa van der Vaart, the Netherlands beat Ghana 4-1 in another friendly yesterday, with Rafa scoring his team’s second (Wesley Sneijder scored the third). I’m liking the Dutch jerseys, they’re very clean and elegant.

There hasn’t been much news coming out of the Argentine camp, which is already in South Africa and not scheduled to play any more friendlies. So here is a picture of Pipita in a friendly against Canada on May 24 in Buenos Aires. Argentina won that game 5-0.
