a pirate in Jordan

While the rest of his teammates are either playing in the World Cup or relaxing on vacation, Esteban Granero is doing some good deeds.

He traveled along with the Fundación Real Madrid and FP to Jordan, where they inaugurated a new school.  El Pirata also took some time to visit the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and talk with some young patients there.  He said he was very happy to be there and very thankful that the Foundation wanted his collaboration for these types of activities.  He added that he would like to do this type of thing whenever he can.

Esteban also managed to look stylish in a keffiyeh that the kids gave to him.  And remember how several months ago we were all surprised when he (and several others) broke out speaking English?  Well we got another glimpse of that on this trip, when he autographed some balls – you can read that it says “to my little hero.”  All together now – awwww.

He’s a perfect ambassador.

AWWWW! El Pirata I already love him but this made me admire him a lot. Its also nice to see more Real Madrid players travel to show their solidarity with the less fortunate.
