let’s go Spain

Cris says on twitter: “After Brazil it’s time to play against Spain, one of the best teams in the World Cup, filled with many of my friends.”

Thanks for the compliment Cris, but I’m hoping that Spain wins – it’s nothing personal Cristiano & Pepe.

I love La Roja of course, but if I had a number one reason to want to see Spain win, it would be to see Vicente del Bosque defeat Carlos Queiroz.

In case you can’t tell, I’m still not over the sacking of Vicente del Bosque after the 2003 season for Carlos Queiroz, who was simply DISASTROUS in his one year in charge at the Bernabéu.  And he hasn’t shown much class after that, always having something bad to say about Real Madrid, or trying to hinder the recovery of Cristiano Ronaldo.  (I blame FP for this too).  ¡Vamos España!
