on the plane and on the ground

July 29, 2010

As you know, one of my obsessions is finding out who sits with whom whenever the team takes a plane ride.  Thanks to some pictures from Madrid’s web site, we have some partial information on the seating arrangements in the flight to Los Angeles, and there were no real surprises.

I love how the boys looked like they were schoolboys taking a school trip together with minimum supervision!  (But seriously, can you believe Marcelo is now the fourth captain?)

– Pepe sat with Marcelo, and I’m sure Cristiano was nearby, maybe feeling a bit left out, and severely missing his bestie Kaká?

– Lass sat with Benzema.

– Pedro León and Granero were next to each other.

– the two goalies, Adán and Dudek, sat together.

– it looks like Diarrá sat with Drenthe.

– and that the two Argentines, Garay and Gago, were also together.

– and the canteranos of course, concretely Nacho and Juanfran (Nacho did not sit with his brother Álex).

Is the city of Los Angeles ready for the hotness that is about to descend on them starting today and continuing through the weekend?

Great pictures!!! But I have a question, Who was sitting with Granero? Maybe Pedro León?
I’ve been reading this blog and the one about La Roja and I have to thank you all the work you’ve done.
Sorry for my English, I’m Spanish, from Salamanca ^_^

Unfortunately, I couldn’t see who was sitting with Granero, but it does seem like it would be Pedro León, since they are good friends already!
      Your English is great!

Great updates. I just checked out your blog for the first time. Love it. I live in a LA and I know our Heros are training two-a-days at UCLA. I was just wondering if their was any word on what times they were training and if the training was “open” to Madridistas. Just bookmarked your blog. Hala Madrid!
