summer days drifting away…
This week’s ¡Hola! has pictures of Iker and Sara poolside during their California vacation.
While Iker relaxed poolside wearing Sara’s hat and a smile and reading Federico Moccia’s Perdona si te llamo amor (the Spanish version, obviously), Sara took a dip.
And if last week we saw Sara in her patriotic USA sweatshirt, well, this time we saw Iker in a pair of swim trunks reminiscent of the American flag.
I hope he got some color, and got rid of the goalkeeper tan!
It’s hard to go wrong fashion-wise when you’re wearing so little, so this time Iker and Sara both look quite stylish! It helps, of course, that Sara is barefoot and I don’t have to look at her shoes (you know I usually detest them, right?)

Sara is nice, I hope they last and be happy together, I hate sad Iker.
But I wanted to ask you what do you think about Spain’s obsession about them? nobody seems to leave them alone, why can’t they give them some breathing space its nice for us to see those photos but I don’t want this to continue throughout the season, Iker has lots of responsibilties now and I don’t want them to invent silly things about his private life affecting his work etc.
Spain’s “pink press” is just like that. And I’m pretty sure that both of them knew coming into the relationship that they would get a lot of attention, and after El Beso, I don’t think it will be receding anytime soon. I also hope Iker won’t be affected, since he’s the first captain this year.

I really don’t mind Sara at all, if Iker is happy, I’m happy and I think everyone’s approach should be likewise. Plus, the guy’s 29 now, and most people would have a family by that time, so any “haters” should lay off the two of them.
I love that he’s like… 400 pages into a 600-something page book. Fit footballers, reading books = HOT.
Sadly, I don’t think we’re likely to see a similar shot of my beloved Sergio… but a girl can dream, right?
I hate to admit it, but they do get cuter with every passing day. It’s nice to see such an honest smile. It’s nice to see him savoring her brief, impromptu pose. Is he saying, ‘oh baby, the camera loves you.’ ?
