quote of the day – Álvaro Morata

I’ve always had a soft spot for our canteranos, and I was really happy to find out that five of them would be traveling with the team to Los Angeles for the U.S. leg of the pre-season.

And if that wasn’t enough, here comes this quote from Álvaro Morata:

During a practice game where the losing team had to pay for the winning team’s drinks, I became so impressed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s legs that I kept staring, fascinated, and didn’t see when Drenthe passed me the ball so that I could score and win the game.  I continued looking at Cristiano until everyone, even those on the other team, began shouting at me, “Morata, Morata…” and I turned around going, “what happened?”

I love Morata even more now (since I would have done the exact same thing).  Plus, it doesn’t hurt that he’s a cute little thing, ¿no?
