Pipita’s back! And Kaká too!

Slowly, Real Madrid is becoming complete!  Pipita joined the training camp yesterday, and Garay must have been the happiest one to see him, although for some reason, he didn’t make the cut for the above photo of Argentines!

Today, new signings Sami Khedira and Sergio Canales, along with Rafa van der Vaart, Álvaro Arbeloa and Raúl Albiol, are expected to meet up in Madrid and take an early afternoon flight to Los Angeles to join up with the rest of the team.  Due to their heavy participation in the World Cup, Iker, Sergio and Xabi have been granted a couple more days rest, and will arrive on Aug. 3, and in Iker’s case, directly from the U.S., where he is on vacation.  None of these players will see action in the first exhibition game on Aug. 4, and they will have special training sessions during the rest of the time in the U.S., since the other players have been training since July 16.

Kaká also arrived yesterday, but was excused from the morning session so that he could rest.  There’s no doubt who was the happiest to see him.  If it takes you longer than one nanosecond to come up with the answer, you haven’t been following this blog close enough!
