Iker’s back! Iker’s back!

I might sound a bit overexcited, but it’s just that I’ve missed him a lot since my last glimpse of him on July 12 (date nights and vacation do not count) and so to finally see him back with Madrid is great!!  He arrived by himself at the hotel last night, since he was already in California, in time for dinner with his teammates.  I’m assuming he won’t be heading back to the baggage claim at LAX today just so the LA Galaxy and their paparazzi can snap him with Xabi and Sergio.

Everything is back to normal now, including Iker’s howler of an oufit (another predictable occurrence).  That shirt (it’s a bit hypnotizing, no?), those shorts, the white sneakers with black socks… and of course, the omnipresent man bag.  He’s also carrying a brown bag that wouldn’t look out of place carrying his bowling ball at a bowling alley (and you know that Iker would be the one with the purple bowling ball).  And the fact that he matched all of them together.  He looks like a 12-year-0ld student/tourist on a class trip (if you substitute a backpack for the man bag).  Words are failing me at the moment.
