where does the line form?
August 4, 2010
From Sergio’s twitter. I totally volunteer to help him with his English, and to help him feel “secure,” even though he says he already has some help. If it’s a teammate, who’s your guess? Xabi? Rafa? Kaká? And will Sergio and Raúl Albiol learn together? I can only imagine how fun those sessions would be!!!
And I wonder how Sergio’s favorite phrase, “súper contento” will sound in English. Have you realized that Sergio is always “súper” something?

This tweet is fabulous! I also volunteer to help him with his English. Which RM players already speak English?
As far as I know, Cris, Kaká, Dudek, Xabi, Arbeloa, Rafa, Lass. It wouldn’t surprise me if Drenthe and Khedira also spoke English.
And then there was that video where Diarrá, Benzema and Granero were speaking in English.
if that twitter account of Canales is no fake, as it looks authentic, then he can speak english too.
Drenthe could probably speak German as most dutch people speak German really well. Sure Rafa speaks it though. I guess he played translator for Khedira during the flight, although Khedira can speak english as well, so he could have talked directly to Arbeloa & Canales.
I LOVE SERGIOOOO! I love them all!!!
I bet you’d be a great tutor and help Sergio feel “secure”, unamadridista.:-)
Just to clarify, which Sergioalways says “super” something? I watched a few Sergio Canales interviews and I think I noticed him saying “super” a lot but it might be Sergio Ramos, too! Maybe we should have a nickname for Canales. Baby Sergio? Canales? Jailbait?:-)
Thanks again for a great update!
X
I was referring to Sergio Ramos.
Thanks!
I will be first in line! He’s just so adorrable!! I joined Twitter just for him!
No speaking is necessary!!!
I wonder whom he asked to have his tweet translated!
that’s sweet of him!
Haha I wanna volunteer to be his English tutor! I am totes qualified (really!) and am also fluent in Andalusian (can’t hurt, right?).
I think the “super” thing is some sort of Andalusian speech tic (maybe just among certain young people, I dunno), because it infiltrated my speech after I lived in Granada for a lengthy period. I constantly use it to modify adjectives in place of “muy”, and sometimes in other places too…
“some help is going on” made my day, so funny
This tweet made my day when I logged on to my Twitter account this morning. I will “be patience” with Sergio because he has some help going on. 🙂
LOL I am actually very surprised that there is no “no?” in that tweet as well, he seems to use it super-often. and as I believe in creative language learning and try to learn Spanish by just listening to football related stuff and footballers- I am terribly afraid that one day when I will finally try to speak Spanish I would say “no?” as every second word! LOL
I originally wrote “súper contento, no?” but then I took the no out!!
I love how you get to 15 comments in no time when it comes to Sergio and personal training 🙂
Hahaha well he is quite the entertaining fellow, “no?” 😀
I read that in my twitter feed and almost died. Lots of shameless fangirling going on…I would also volunteer to teach him English (I’m almost ashamed to admit that)
I was always torn between Sergio and Pique. Pique’s got the over all looks but when Sergio smiles, I melt. Also, Sergio I think has the nicer, more appealing personality. Now this…Sergio is starting to edge him out. This is too cute for words.
