galácticos vs. Galaxy*

The game hasn’t even started yet, but I’m 50% satisfied already, seeing Becks greet the Madrid players, and the Portuguese speakers joking around (Pepe’s very amused).
The other 50% will come when I see pictures of Becks with Iker (25%) and if Madrid puts in a good performance (25%).
And the navy shirts go much better with the brown pants than the black ones, no? Not so good: Cris’ popped collar. Somewhere in the stadium, Xabi Alonso has done the same.
*by the way, I hate it when people call Madrid the “galácticos” but I just couldn’t help it in this case, since they were taking on the Galaxy.

Watching right now! It’s 6am here so you can only imagine the duct tape I’ve conveniently attached to keep my eyelids open haha 😀 But grrrr I can’t believe I missed the first ten minutes with Sergio being all cute and captainy! ..so much for the doritos that took me forever to get

I went to their hotel today (while on my way to UCLA to sound not stalkerish) and noticed a small group of fans so I waited with them. I saw a bunch if not all of the players (I wasn’t tall enough) and grabbed really crappy pictures. But Xabi Alonso was really friendly and he had a cute smirk and let a girl kiss him on the cheek. & Beckham joined with his son in tow at the hotel and drove with the RM team to Pasadena. 😀

I heard my alarm, then turned it off, deciding that I could do without watching this game.

Ohh bad decision Nurul.. 😦 he was the captain in the first half but Iker was back in during the second half (still yay!) The first half wasn’t so good for RM but watching some lovely closeups of Sergio made me feel a whole lot better 😀
