El Mundo Magazine (the same one that reported that Iker is the second most liked person in the country) has a new survey out in today’s magazine: the top 10 most desired.
On the men’s side, Rafa Nadal takes the crown again (he’s also Spain’s favorite person), and on the women’s side, the most desired female in Spain is none other than Sara Carbonero. The interesting thing is that Amaia Salamanca, who was linked to Iker, and Eva González, Iker’s ex, are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, showing that Iker does in fact have pretty good taste. As does Eva, because her current boyfriend, hot bullfighter Cayetano Rivera, is ranked second.
Poor Iker didn’t make the list this year (WHAT???), or in 2008, when the last survey was held. In that year, Fernando Torres ranked eighth, and Sergio Ramos ranked ninth. That may sound nice, but José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero was actually ranked above both of them at six, leading me to question the sanity of those surveyed. Neither Fernando nor Sergio made the list this year. Only one footballer did – Pep Guardiola, who was ranked [and justifiably so] third.
just wanted to say I love the photo…..Iker clean shaven…….Sergio just yammmmmmm…….and of course the b*tchface on Nando 🙂
way to go Sara? actually, do you have a link to the survey? I’d be curious to see what pictures they used for Rafa and Pep.
It’s from the print edition, which only had pictures of Sara, no one else.
LOL, good to know the list;-) (I have a little crush on Pep, so I am not amazed at all that he’s there, but why no TheRamos? I don;t get it? did the list people not see his pictures? LOL
I need some advice, if you do not mind, from you as the Real specialist;-) I might have the chance to go to see the Bernabeu Trophy, as I will be in Madrid just when it will happen, Assuming of course that there would be any possibility to get the tickets as the “general public”;-)
Do you think the 1st team will play it or will they have the young ones, or all-sub squad on that match? I have no idea why am I even doubting the sense of going to see anyone who plays for Real Madrid, but I just wanna have my expectations realistic – do you think are there any chances for seeing the first team there? Ok, I already plan to spend one of my days in Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu, and just one glimpse of TSO or whoever else would be enough, but I just somehow need a confirmation from someone else, that this event is worth considering, if the tickets are available, of course…..
I’m not sure, it will depend on how the coach is feeling then. But I think you’ll be able to see the first team play, though probably not for long, since it’s the first (and only) home game in the pre-season. But really, if you have a chance, go! Just being in the stadium is incredible, especially on a game day.

I refuse to accept that this happened in the real world.
I just googled José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero because I had no idea who he was, and turns out he’s a..politician? Really? Oh my God, this guy better look good in person or at least make the public incredibly happy because I don’t know how any sober person would pick him over Sergio or Iker..honestly.. Also, both of them are better looking than Guardiola but if wardrobe choices were also in consideration..then maybe they got that right.
Zapatero is the president of Spain, he actually looks like Mr. Bean. I think maybe very old ladies find him attractive.
Really? These guys just won them the World Cup, first time ever in history…you’d think people would honor/please them in this way…I know not what is going on…
Thats what I was thinking also. They are smokin’ hot no matter what but with the World Cup victory barely a month ago you’d think the Spanish NT would take up 1-10 on that list.
