it’s not the end of the world
Big news, but not that big. Sometime between the end of practice and the end of yesterday, Sergio Ramos decided to go to a beauty salon (he definitely goes to one of those rather than a barber shop) and chop off some of his luscious locks, and have his part moved from the center to the side, with accompanying bangs created. The result was, of course, posted on twitter (Sergio called it his new look).
I can’t say I’m a fan of the “new look.” For one, Sergio now looks like a million other boys in Spain (yes boys, not men, and Sergio is definitely a man), and it kind of screams “fashion victim.” And two, because it reminds me a lot of how he looked when he first came to Madrid, for the bangs and the length, and let’s face it, he wasn’t as hot as he is now back then (or as tattooed).
I guess we can take consolation in the fact that Sergio seems to like changing his hair a lot (he’ll take over for Guti in this department at Real Madrid) so in a couple of weeks he might have a new one that I like better.
And anyway, as long as he plays well, his hair takes a backseat to his performance for me.
In any case, the pressing question is, who took the picture that he posted on twitter? Judging by the reflection in his sunglasses, it appears to be a girl. And if it’s a girl, I think we all want to know more…

Álvaro Arbeloa had a “fantastic” lunch with his “gran amigo” Filipe Luis, who, incidentally, was sporting one of Sergio Ramos’ old hairstyles. And of course, there was a picture to accompany the tweet. I guess they can now see a lot more of each other now that Filipe has moved to Madrid! They became good friends while playing for Real Madrid B; interestingly enough, both would go on to play for Depor after that.
Álvaro also responds to a tweet asking what Carvalho is like by responding that he’s “muy majo” (very nice).
And lastly, a picture of the four musketeers that wasn’t tweeted by Sergio or Álvaro? ¡Dios mío!
Maybe it was because José Mourinho wouldn’t have been very amused had they stopped the training session to ask him to take a picture of the four of them.
First the hair…now the mention of this mystery girl….its too much to handle!!! Anyways I reeeeeeally dont like this “new look” it looks so 70’s to me….whoever did this to him needs to be fired. Maybe he’ll look better at the game today…fingers crossed…

His hair is ok, but I still prefer it before his haircut. It’ll grow back again! As for the girl, I hope it’s someone like his sister or mum or something like that haha!…
I don’t know…..I like he’s hair..it will grow again in a little while, so we might as well get used to it:)) I just can’t wait to see him in the game tonight. As for the “girl” in the reflection, I don’t really think it’s a girl, I can’t imagine a girl sitting like that in the car:)) I hope it’s not a girl, but if it really is, hope they’ll be happy together….Go Madrid tonight!

You know I’ve been “examining” the reflection for a bit now lol and its starting to look to me like it may be a man taking the picture…maybe its just wishful thinking 😉 but seriously either its a really flat chested girl or it really is a man because I dont see the shape of any boobs on that person LOL just saying…
Ahh I’ve looked at it for the billionth time now and I think the hair of the person in the reflection looks like Rene’s hair no? 🙂 I really hope it is *fingers crossed*
I think you’re right, it does look like Rene…in this video Rene is with him at the salon too, maybe they always do their hair together 🙂

Is it me or does the person in the reflection look to be wearing a shirt that’s showing the shoulders but covering the arms? And wearing a huge bracelet? It can’t be a guy lol but I also am going blind.
lol hmmmm….i dont see that but im sticking with believing its Rene because it makes me feel better! The only skin I see is part of the persons face and their elbows, what I see is a dude with a short sleeve pink shirt kinda leaning back holding up a camera. And it kinda looks like the persons left elbow is resting on their knee….most girls dont sit like that….i dont think….lol sorry im getting a little too into this! 🙂
What has happened to Amaia? I knew there was something wrong when I saw the pictures from his vacation with loads of family but not her, but are they official not a couple anymore? 😀
haha that hair is probably more expensive than my iPhone but man does it look it cheesy and dodgy? I love his long hair, but if he really wanted to have a ‘new look’ then he should’ve cut it the same length as Iker or Xabi. But I must admit, he looked so ‘i-just-wanna-squeeze-your-cheeks’ cute when he first signed for Real…I was rather too young then to notice him (he’s 9 years older than me).
Oh and I am pretty CERTAIN that that woman is his sister. Why I say that? Well, on his twitter (on Sunday 15th ) he said that he has spent some time with his Familia, and you know how (disturbingly) close him and Miriam are; I am at the stage where I am begigining to belive the Spanish media who are claiming that they are having some sort of an incest affair (I AM SORRY !), But looking at it objectively (hehem) if THE Ramos was my hermano, then I AM sure that I would wan’t to get more than just hugs and kisses on the cheeks from him, more than just flicking the towel on his ass in a playful manner…you get what I mean. Damn, the bro is hot!
I loved him when he was at Sevilla with awful hair, and I’ll love him now. I’m used to him being a fashion victim, so this is just one more misstep… like the summer of 2009. (Maybe it’s becoming a yearly ritual now?) Just think of the abs and wait for it to grow back!
If the hair affects his football, however, an intervention will have to be staged.

you guys, your eyes are really good if you can determine anything from the reflection on his shades.
Dont get me wrong, Im Team Long Hair but I didnt think he looked all that bad in that video at the vet….the only thing that seemed off to me was the size of his dog…
