In case you missed it – Mallorca vs. Real Madrid [2010-08-29].

It wasn’t a very exciting game, and I think we really have to heed José Mourinho when he (and several of the players) said that this team needs time to learn how to play together as a team.

More from the game later, if I can muster up the interest to write about it, especially since it cost us Cristiano Ronaldo and Lass.

Ohhh I’m so disheartened by Cris’ injury!! We see him take lots of little hits on regular occasions, but this time when he retreated to the side to get a little medical attention my heart sank into my gut 😦 So apparently he’ll be watching the games for another three weeks, eh?
Somehow, I don’t remember anything bad happening to Lass. 😕

    I’m so gutted 😦
    Such a disappointing match!!!!
Yes, we deserved to win, but losing our players on the first day??? Not good!

Our players are dropping like flies! I just hope the injury bug bites Barcelona’s squad sometime during the season… we need to give the team time… but I think it’s frustrating to start a new project every year… I hope no matter what happens that Jose stays.

For me personally it’s hard to get excited about this team because so many players are recent additions and I have yet to build an affinity towards them.

Lyon is living quite the same situation with a lot of injuries (like 5 of their players are out)… and the club’s physical training is questioned very loudly these days. It’s ALWAYS abnormal to lose so many players at the beginning of the season.

Oh I watched their last game against Lorient. I remember when one of their players just collapsed onto the ground without being touched by anyone because he pulled a leg muscle (I presume). I was very puzzled when I heard that this has been happening too frequently 😕

Ugh. I wasted a too-large chunk of my weekend watching this match. I don’t really know what to say, other than I hope the rest of the season goes a better… 😦
