¡mucha suerte!
August 31, 2010
According to Marca, Royston Drenthe is expecting to leave Real Madrid, and thus after the Mallorca game, he invited all of his teammates to a good-bye party. The party took place at Tónica 90, in La Moraleja. Among the players who showed up were Gonzalo Higuaín, Karim Benzema, Sergio Canales and Marcelo. Roya is quite popular among his teammates, and so he wanted to say good-bye and thank them personally.
I wish Drenthe a lot of luck wherever he goes, and have to say I’m a bit relieved that Madrid is finally trimming the squad list.

So that means R. VDV stays. Yeah.
Nooooo they just sold Rafa too!
I’m kind of upset by that news. Drenthe, I could let go. But not Rafa! 😦
Aww..I can’t say that I haven’t grown attached to most of our players over the seasons, but the recent departure of a certain two players have thickened my skin a lot. I accept the fact that players will come and go; I will welcome the newbies and miss the leavers. So Drenthe, good luck wherever you go! 🙂
Good luck Drenthe and Rafa. I wish them the best on their new teams.
It’s kinda sad to see players leaving…
Real Madrid always sell/or/loan dutch players! 😥
