He had said himself that he hoped to be back for the Ajax game on Sept. 15, but it looks like his recovery is going ahead of schedule, because José Mourinho included him on the list of the 20 players called up for Saturday’s game against Osasuna. And good thing too, since it would have looked pretty lonely with just the Benz and the Pipa listed as forwards. Mou also said Cris would start. Also on the list for the first time in nine months is Pepe! And just in time, because the number of healthy defenders that we have is quite paltry as well!
