yesterday was take off your shirt day
Well, sort of. By popular demand, although – and let’s not kid ourselves here – even if no one had requested this, I would still have posted about it.
Cristiano Ronaldo in a teaser clip from his new Armani Jeans video.
(I love the people at Armani for uploading the video in HD. Cristiano’s abs and thighs fill the entire screen…)
Let’s hope the jeans fit Cris as nicely as the underwear, and that Armani throws in a logo-free belt as a present. And that a shirt remains optional.
By the way, this commercial and these Armani ads are not the only place where Cristiano is showing off his body.
Remember this? Well, it turns out the shorts were even shorter than I had imagined. The shirt is barely longer than the shorts! What a waste on the all male FIFA delegation. Why doesn’t he dress like this during practice sessions??? And can we get Sergio an order of these shorts immediately?
Bonus: the making of of Cris’s Timeforce ad.
Meanwhile, the marketing department of Real Madrid must have decided that its other golden boy – Kaká – needed his moment in the shirtless spotlight as well, and got the web site to publish some photos of Kaká in a swimming pool. Ok, it’s part of an article describing how he’s recovering, but who can concentrate on that when Kaká is topless and wet?
And apparently, the people who work at Real Madrid are a bit color-challenged, because this is the outfit that Kaká wore for an interview. They really seem to love matching brown and black! Here is exhibit one. In my eyes, those two colors don’t match. Which means that Iker will show up in an outfit with those colors soon.
Anyway, back to Kaká: he’s off the crutches and working six hours a day to rehabilitate his left knee, using weight machines, the swimming pool (at the same time as Cristiano?) and receiving massages from the physios. He’s also gotten electrical stimulus and tried out cryotherapy. In the article, its says, “while we’re observing him working out in the gym, a door suddenly opens… and Cristiano Ronaldo comes into the room and hugs Kaká while joking around with him.”
In the interview, Kaká says his knee is not hurting any more and that everything is going well. He also says he’s smiling more these days, that his teammates are helping him a lot as well, and that he really wants to return to the field. He also took the time to thank the fans for all their support and nice words.
