thanks for clearing that up
Mou, during today’s press conference, on the water bottle throwing incident in Donosti:
The bottle was empty. I’m not stupid and I already drank all the water. The bottle was harmless and Rui Faria wasn’t scared. I wasn’t angry with Sergio, I got angry with everyone for making things complicated in an easy situation. I see [Sergio] as a top player who has a top mentality. I have a good relationship with all the players. The only thing that they don’t like is the concentraciones before home games. I’m not going to hide that.
Read on for Mou’s take on his forwards…
On Benzema: I’m liking how he’s working and playing at this moment. He deserves to play more. He understands better now what he has to contribute. I have a lot more confidence in him than I did two months ago. He’s on the right path and now it’s up to me to give him more opportunities to make him happier.
On Higuaín: I’m happy with how my team is playing, and he’s part of the team. He’ll score more goals, because he was able to score in the Liga and the Champions when he was going through a giant crisis. There are forwards that go months without scoring.

I laughed when I read that on the mothership today!
Have you seen this twitter page? http://twitter.com/Joses_blackbook
“he was able to score in the Liga and the Champions when he was going through a giant crisis”–when was Pipita going through a crisis?
by the way, I love both your blogs!
sorry to bother, but what crisis he refers to?
“….he was able to score in the Liga and the Champions when he was going through a giant crisis.”
What crisis?
Rui really wasn’t scared. He barely even flinched! (But you know, empty bottles hurt, too…)
I’ve been having a pretty bad day, so I’m kind of shocked by all the positivity in these updates… in a good way, haha.
I don’t know why but i love read this post over, over, and over again.
What does mou even mean by Higuain’s “giant crisis”?
By looking at your gif, for me Rui looks frightened for a sec but he didn’t want to show it to Mou. I guess he didn’t want Mou to get more angry.
what is a concentraciones ?
A concentración is when the players are called up to meet and stay together before a game (or games). It can be overnight, in the case of Madrid before home games, or last for several weeks, such as when Spain went to South Africa for the World Cup.
