Miguel Palanca, now a winger at Elche, had to put on the gloves and defend the goal after his goalkeeper got his expelled for a foul on an opposition player in the area. A penalty was called on that play, and Elche, having made all three substitutions already, could only put Miguelito in the goal. The penalty went in, with the game ending 2-2.
