random fact #53

Marcelo has taken to spreading Vicks VapoRub on the chest area of his jersey during games in order to breathe better.

He started doing this at the beginning of this season.

And he’s the only Madrid player to do so at the moment.

Will others follow suit?  I can see Marcelo convincing Cristiano to do so…

And if the others do follow suit, I want to apply for the job of rubbing Vicks on the players, I mean jerseys.  Well, hopefully the players will be in their jerseys when time comes for the rubbing to begin.

*raises her hand* Hey can I volunteer along with you as well? 🙂 I like Marcelo just fine. He has the cutest grin ever – the braces just add to his appeal!

I know! I’d like to hire him as my personal teddy bear 😀

Thanks for this…I’ve finally found something that I would NOT want to lick off of Cristiano…

Lol gurl. Though I’d probably like the vicks too. Minty fresh. 😉

Phew I am glad that weird shiny stuff on his jersey was just vicks. I thought it was snot. Lots and lots of snot.

Okay, I totally noticed this a few matches ago – the front of his jersey was like, SHINY and stuck to him, way, way more than any of the other guys. It almost looked like he’d been drooling on himself or something… but no. Vicks VapoRub.

That’s just slightly gross. But I’d probably still help in the application process if he convinces the rest of the team…

So that’s why his jersey has been so shiny at the front!
