Xabi’s missing tweet

September 30, 2010

Xabi tweeted this earlier today, but later deleted it (so I got it from another source).  It says, “enjoying [the article] ‘a session with hair stylist Philip B'” with a link to the article.  The article, from newspaper El Mundo, talks about the visit of hair stylist Philip B to Spain and has a picture of him styling the hair of Xabi’s wife, Nagore.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t saying anything about Xabi in the article, but how sweet of Xabi to say this!

Of course, the tweet prompted reactions from his teammates.  Álvaro wrote, “what entertainment!!” and Sergio tweeted, “well, tell him to do [your hair] a bit for Sunday… hehehe.”

P.S. – speaking of entertainment and show business, Sergio and Esteban Granero are expected tonight at the Teatro Compac on Gran Vía for the unveiling of José Mercé’s newest album, Ruido.

thanks! I missed Xabi’s tweet, and was trying to figure out why Sergio and Alvaro said those to him. jaja. I hope Xabi visits the stylist one day, and change his style. He’s been with that hair for a long time, no? Some people call it the Gerrard hair…

Xabi, stop deleting your tweets, it makes you a giant buzzkill! (Although Sergio’s wrong – Xabi doesn’t need any help with his hair 😛 )

On the other hand: Sergio + flamenco = supreme happiness. The addition of Granero can only make it even better (I guess I didn’t realize that he was flamenquito?). There had better be a serious fin de fiesta, and video footage. Or at least some twitpics.

I wonder why Xabi has been deleting his tweets lately… This seems to be a pretty harmless tweet, doesn’t it?
(Btw, this is my first post, so YAY!)

Haha, Alvaro commenting on Xabi-related matters is so typical.
Sergio commenting on anything hair-related is even more typical 😆

*finding next plane to Madrid to go to Teatro Compac on Gran Via* damn, too late!

But I do hope the Teatro is full of people with cameras so the pics are taken. I do also hope Sergio wears red trousers or something.

as it was commented in previous posts, mental images are not enough!

Hahah, I was hoping you’d post about this because I saw Sergio’s tweet to Xabi, but couldn’t figure out what they were talking about. I can always count on you! 🙂
