bad luck, Fer
After an MRI and other tests at the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja today, it was confirmed that Fernando Gago will be out for a(nother) month, due to a sprained left knee, the same one that kept him out for a month after he injured it during the Trofeo Bernabéu game at the end of August.
Meanwhile, the few players left at Valdebebas had their last training session of the week, which was directed by Castilla coach Alejandro Menéndez. Several Castilla players joined in as well. Lots of portrait-like pictures here. Our players are off until Tuesday, so they should get a good rest!
Updated: and guess who visited Valdebebas this morning? WEAH!!!
And Álvaro Arbeloa tweeted a message of encouragement for Fernando Gago!
It says: “a lot of encouragement for Fer! You’ll be back soon, máquina! A big hug!”

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. I LOVE GUTI!!!! He should never have left Madrid. I feel so bad by the way the club treated him. Such a Real Madrid legend. Would it have killed them to ‘put up’ with his attitude and character one more season.
At least he’s not afraid of voicing his oppinion. Hate players who just say yes sir, no sir at the coach and the club executives.

Omg I’ve seriously missed him! He’s looking good (read: less “original” than usual), but I wish we could have kept him (and Raúl too)! It’s weird seeing him and then having to realize – wait, he’s not ours anymore!
And poor Gago… this season has just been one disappointment after another. I hope he makes a speedy (and LASTING!) recovery this time!

Hey everyone! Don’t worry. Guti is treated very well in Turkey. Everyone adores him, all the football fans not only Besiktas fans. Besiktas coach Schuster gave them 3 day off. He was in Istanbul and hanging out with his new girlfriend : ) When did he fly away to Spain?
