In this week’s Crackòvia, Sergio is watching the Málaga game next to Jorge Valdano.  Love the outfit, especially the fur collar (reminds me of Guti), the pinky ring and the Lady Gaga tee!

Sergio: Fwah.  0-2.  Málaga is really bad, aren’t they?  They’re nothing compared to the Lithuanian national team, which is full of internacionales (players that play for the national team; it’s making fun of a statement Sergio made before the Spain-Lithuania game).

Valdano: Sergio, they’re internacionales because they play for Lithuania.

Sergio: Oh really?  Well, if I’m an internacional, how come I don’t play for Lithuania then?  Let’s see how you explain this one, Valdano.

Valdano: Speaking of the national team, I don’t think you reacted well when Piqué answered in catalán.  It made Madrid look bad.

Sergio: How tedious is it that they’re still talking about that catalán thing!  I already said it was a joke.

Valdano: If it was a joke, then why did you have that serious expression?

Sergio: Because this is my joking face.  Serious, joking, serious, joking…

Valdano: Sergio!!!  SERGIO!!!  Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Sergio: Ahhh… NO.  What I wanted to say was that if we’re all Spaniards, why don’t we speak Spanish, so that everyone will be able to understand?

Valdano: I completely agree with you, but in public we have to be well-mannered and respectful.

Sergio: Yeah, like Mourinho, or even better, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Valdano: Are you being serious?

Sergio: Of course not, quillo, don’t you see my joking expression?

__________

Sergio: 1-4, and we’re leaders.

Valdano: Ok Sergio, I’m going to the locker room.

Sergio: I’m going to send out a tweet, and then I’ll come.  Victory in Málaga and go Spain!

Reporter: Sergio, Canal Sur [an Andalucían TV channel].  What are your thoughts on the game Madrid played?

Sergio: This is for Canal Sur?  Do you want me to respond in andalucían?

Reporter: Ok.

– cue the flamenco music –

Sergio: We gave them a thrashing and now we’re leaders and olé.

Reporter: Was that whole catalán controversy exaggerated?

Sergio: Totally.  I still believe that’s it’s stupid to speak catalán live.  But since I have a microphone in front of me, what else can I say?  I respect the catalán language!  And I also speak it!

Reporter: You do?  Can you give us a demonstration?

Sergio: For example, for “quillo,” catalanes say “xicot,” and for “olé,” they say (something).  For “edificio” (Spanish for “building”), they say… what was it?

Reporter: I would say it’s “edifici” (“edifici” = catalán for building, and it also sounds like “es difícil,” Spanish for “it’s difficult,” especially as how someone from Andalucía would say it).

Sergio: I know it’s difficult, but give me some time to think!

__________

Sergio: it’s that thing where there are a lot of people living in it, it’s tall, there are balconies, floors…

Domingo de Sergio Ramos is seriously the best Crackovia gag EVER. (Okay, maybe “Lesionado” is better, but still… it’s pretty close.) I should make a list or something…

*FALLS OFF CHAIR LAUGHING* OK, this was superfantàstic! (Note that I left the terminal ‘o’ off, so clearly I’m speaking Catalan! 😉 ) Edifici!!!

I’ve actually never heard anyone speak Andalucian before, and must admit that when Sergio lapsed into it, no entendí NADA. Que fascinante! (Olé!)

The only thing that Crackovia!Sergio neglected to do was to take a twitpic with Valdano making thumbs-upses! Dude, that would’ve rocked.
