Wednesday odds and ends
One. Today is a day off, with training resuming Thursday in anticipation of Saturday’s game against the team that gave us Sergio Canales, Racing!
Hopefully though, we’ll get to see some players today at the presentation of a charity golf tournament organized by the Real Madrid Foundation for the benefit of foundations involved with Down’s Syndrome and West Syndrome.
Two. And as confirmed by Álvaro Arbeloa, our Pipa is finally on twitter (and racking up followers) although he hasn’t started tweeting yet (and as Álvaro said, there are a lot of things to do).
Three. Our battle for the Copa del Rey – the only major cup Iker lacks in his trophy cabinet – begins next Tuesday, on Oct. 26, at 20h in the Nueva Condomina. The second leg will be at the Bernabéu on Nov. 9 or 10.
Four. The Spanish U-19 team beat Lithuania 6-0 in the qualifying round of the U-19 Euro, with our canteranos scoring half of that tally – Pablo Sarabia netted two goals and Álvaro Morata one. Álex Fernández and Jesé Rodríguez also played in the game.

I hope you’re joking, because do you really expect me to have it right after the game? I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but those posts involve a lot of work, and I also have other priorities in life.

Well, Sergio does have to teach Pipita to do the thumbs-up properly before he can start tweeting, and since Sergio wasn’t at the hotel yesterday, Pipita can’t start send out tweets just yet.
Oh, Sergio didnt teach that to Pipita in Auxerre? 😀
Pipita has to learn to take the initiative himself instead of following instructions!!! And he also has to be able to convince whoever he’s with to follow suit!
Ahhh ok. Yeah and when hes learnt, he might end like Álvaro 😀 Hes a funny guy Im really curious if he shows on twitter or if his tweets are rather like Cristianos = boring. Damn cant wait.

Hmm, well when Sergio has a teaching session with Pipa, I hope he leaves out the part about wearing a shirt 🙂 If you ask me, I think there’s too much “coverage” when Pipita shows up in pictures.

If Pipita tweets half a much as Alvaro we will all be happy i think – however I am not holding my breath for the first tweet! And yes Una while we all wait excitedly for each post I am sure everyone really appreciates how much time and effort you put into your posts ! Thanks.
Yes, I know I certainly appreciate it- the gifs are just priceless. And the end of the wait for this one will be all the sweeter, since Cristiano whipped his shirt off the second the game ended, and I suspect that will feature in the roundup… 🙂

I would even say, that it is better when it comes few days after the match, so I have my Real-related lecture for the days between the matches and not right after the match, when I am still hyped after it. LOL
The match was cool, I REALLY enjoyed it, althougt of course I missed Sergio. I have not even seen him once, was he shown at all?
Last night I even had a dream that I am at Santiago Bernabeu, watching the game and afterwards Sergio was driving me and my friends around Madrid and invited us to the party at his house. He looked awesome. I am now terribly dissapointed that it was just a freakin dream. (but it kinda made my day as well;-)))
I literally gasped out loud in class when I read Alvaro’s tweet. I then proceeded to chant “Oh my God” redundantly..*ahem* yeah..
Hold on, a golf tournament? Does that mean there’s a possibility that our fashionistos will be sporting some golfing attire? Oooooh this is going to be good! Now would be the time for me to wish Drenthe was still here 😆
oh, right! I would love to see what the ones who would appear would wear – getting to know what they think is a good outfit is always amusing, as the history taught us! LOL
Reading through the post…caught the word “golf” and immediately thought SERGIO’S GONNA COME OUT TO PLAY!!!! well I hope he will! 2 games & no Sexio= a no no
