Cris had a hand in designing these, didn’t he?
Nike and Cristiano will present tomorrow the CR9 Safari Collection, which includes Cris’ brand new boots! Apparently, these boots, the Mercurial Vapor VI, were inspired by the snow leopard (or Apple perhaps?) and the advertising campaign will compare Cris to a cheetah. The boots were created according to Cristiano’s exact specifications (I’m assuming they mean technical specs, but we can’t rule out the possibility that Cris also came up with the snow leopard idea).
Well, with these boots, Cris will definitely stand out on the field, won’t he? Right now, all I’ll say is that they’re certainly “original” (in the Spanish way)… I’ll wait and see how they will look with the Madrid kit before saying anything else!
I can totally see Cris coming out with the non-sneaker version of these shoes for the CR7 line.

Those are possibly the most revolting football boots I have EVER seen in my life. The orange and purple combo is downright gorgeous in comparison.

I am almost afraid to admit that I actually like these – I would never wear them – unless they made them in a four inch heel version 🙂 but I think they are kind of neat. Anything connected to the big cats will reel me in [I am assuming its not named for the Apple product] Oh well there goes my fashion taste I guess.

Agree with @HermosaChica Cris looks weird in these pictures. And if I played football I would not choose this soccer cleat. Shame.

Sorry to say, but these look GOOD! They will match perfectly with the white kit and the others! If Cristiano did design these, then he should get a round of applause. You all may be scared to say it, but I’m not! These are GREAT!!!!
I think they’ll be fine too. They look pretty obnoxious by themselves but with the kit and on the pitch I think they’ll look good. And…people (kids?) will probably buy them just because their Cris’.
Doesn’t Ozil have similar shoes to the one’s Cris wears now? Wonder if we’ll be seeing him in new boots soon 😉
