Nike and Cristiano will present tomorrow the CR9 Safari Collection, which includes Cris’ brand new boots! Apparently, these boots, the Mercurial Vapor VI, were inspired by the snow leopard (or Apple perhaps?) and the advertising campaign will compare Cris to a cheetah. The boots were created according to Cristiano’s exact specifications (I’m assuming they mean technical specs, but we can’t rule out the possibility that Cris also came up with the snow leopard idea).
Well, with these boots, Cris will definitely stand out on the field, won’t he? Right now, all I’ll say is that they’re certainly “original” (in the Spanish way)… I’ll wait and see how they will look with the Madrid kit before saying anything else!
I can totally see Cris coming out with the non-sneaker version of these shoes for the CR7 line.
