Hahaha, yes that’s the tweet I was talking about! I would absolutely LOVE it if Alvaro was my personal alarm clock and screamed “¡¡¡¡¡ Bueeeeeeeeeeenos díaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas !!!!!” at me every morning. My “not a morning person” disease will undoubtedly be cured 😀

¡¡¡¡LOL!!!! I LOVE HIM TOO!! And ehm.. una,do u mind explain me a little for the sake of my desperate spanish ability, when exactly we use “buenos” or “buenas”? What’s the difference? Thank you..

Briefly, in Spanish all nouns are either masculine or feminine. Adjectives such as bueno/buena change according to whether the noun they describe is masculine or feminine, with the “o” ending for masculine and the “a” ending for feminine. In the case of “días” (days), it’s masculine, so “buenos” is used. “Buenas” would be used when the noun is feminine, i.e. tardes (afternoons), so it would be “buenos días” (good morning) and “buenas tardes” (good afternoon).

    Una,

I hold 2 doctoral level degrees in science and am currently employed as a scientific researcher (actually true about me). It is my official, professional opinion that ‘Álvaro Arbeloa is the king of twitter’, is a true statement.

Who needs scientific proof? Álvaro is seriously the best thing about Twitter!

Although I cannot support his promotion of the morning-person agenda.

Una, just popping in to let you know that the Red Card Homophobia campaign tweeted Arbeloa today to ask him to support the cause. From Facebook:

@aarbeloa17 Por favor ayúdenos a luchar contra la homofobia en el fútbol. http://bit.ly/ciXhjH RT #redcardhomophobia @RChomophobia…

@aarbeloa17 Help us fight homophobia in football. http://bit.ly/ciXhjH RT #redcardhomophobia @RChomophobia

I wonder if he will respond?
