just for kicks…
As promised, a post with pictures! Madrid held a training session today, and by the looks of it, the players only practiced kicking!
Twenty-one players took part in the session, the first in their preparation for the game against Valencia. The other four players were absent from the session, although they did work out inside in the gym: Kaká and Gago, both recovering from long-term injuries, Higuaín, with his back problems and Cristiano, who ended the game against Barcelona with a deep bruise and inflamed tendon in his right ankle. He’ll receive medical treatment and physiotherapy, and will be monitored for the next two days, meaning that he won’t be in Zurich tomorrow to support the Iberian 2018 World Cup bid. However, Iker will be there.

Yay for pretttttuuuuy pictures. I’m focusing on the pretty pictures!! *is fed up of the wank*
Pictures! Thank you! 😀
Re: the third picture… it’s getting to the point where it takes me a minute to tell who’s Sami and who’s Sergio. They are looking *scarily* more alike every day.
I’m having the same issue, especially when they are in motion.
I love those hooded windbreakers. All the players look great in them! I’m glad to see them back in training and I can’t wait for the match on Saturday.
These guys look adorable in gloves and puffy jackets! I can only imagine them as those children who start to waddle like penguins as a result of all the layers of warm clothing their parents pile on them. 😆
Thanks for the photos, Una!
win! Images of “The Christmas Story” kid just ran throught my mind :p
moving on and moving up 🙂
So excited to see what happens with 2018 draw!
Awww Madrid, why so many sleeves and hoods and gloves? I saw on Sportscenter yesterday night some footage of the RM training session — Iker and Sergio signing autographs, and most importantly (for me), Xabi Alonso looking AMAZING in one of the sleeveless training shirts!!! I was hoping for some pictures of THAT, but either ESPN was using old footage from the summer, or the mercury took a severe dip overnight. *sigh*
(Hey, I’m just here for the pretty! 😉 )
Good to see smiles back on their faces ❤
Yea, good to see them back. We will go on and we will overcome; it was just one match. I am sure that Mourinho will find the best psychological remedy to cure the wounds…
