in today’s training session…
… the guys looked cold but cheerful!
See, no problems in the locker room! I just wished they expressed it in some way other than with their thumbs… And back in training was Sami Khedira. Meanwhile, Cristiano stayed in the gym, along with Diarra and Albiol, who had played last night in the Zidane-Ronaldo charity game.
We can always count on Marcelo and Pepe to bring some cheer/craziness, no?
And MFC was back in training with the big boys, along with his Castilla teammates Álex Fernández, Juanfran and Sarabia, and Fernando Pachecho from Juvenil A.
These two looked the coldest. Arbeloa almost looks like an old woman like that.
At the press conference after, Lass said, “everything’s good between Iker and Cristiano. Iker is the captain and Cristiano is one of the leaders.”

Marcelo’s braces? There was a small shoot last game when he smiled after a foul, he was adorable. And thanks Una for bringing in these pics. You know, RM locker room was in the back of my mind the whole day. I was sad somehow…
But all vanishes now with these lovely pics. Love them all…And see Mou, hahaha, the coldest….
I’m trying to think…have I ever seen Pepe and Marcelo not smiling? hmmmm…not very often. How great it must be to have them for a teammate.
And Mou. in that last pic…that’s priceless! lol
But why Alonso is there? he is supposed to get some rest given that he won’t play on Sunday…
That picture of Pepe, Marcelo and Iker is so precious!! Iker’s just awkwardly smiling and doing the thumbs up there, haha! Their smiles are contagious. I’m grinning like an idiot here. I think I need to print out that photo, it makes me so damn happy. I’m sure it’ll cheer me up everytime I’m feeling down 🙂

I love how Sami always looks completely oblivious to the cold. Everyone is in 20 layers and he’s out there in shorts. 😉
He’s from the wet rainy part of Germany.
And of course, I like to think he’s somewhat hot-blooded if you know what I mean!

hey Una, i read the news about “Real Madrid To Offer Gunners Karim Benzema Swap For Gael Clichy”. is it for real? does it confirm yet? cause i remember Karim’s agent said something about Benzema wont leave RM in January and will stay in RM instead but this news keep circling around the media.
Does anyone heard any news about this?
i really wish Karim to stay in Real Madrid. He maybe haven’t found his best move and consistency in RM yet but he’s a great player! he should stay with Real Madrid..

It’s possible that we could trade Benzema, but it wouldn’t be for a left-back. That would leave us with one striker, and Perez/Valdano/Mourinho et al have all acknowledged that we have a striking shortage. If we traded him, it would be for another striker.
