another reason why he’s my favorite
January 19, 2011
I really, really, really adore this boy.

Daniel Arias, Álvaro Morata’s coach in the 2007-08 season with Getafe’s Cadete A team, told this week’s issue of Don Balón magazine the following:
Even though he’s from a well-off family, he was as humble a boy as you could find, an ideal player to build a group around. As a substitute, he would celebrate the goals of the other forward from the bench.
The most unforgettable memory I have of Álvaro is him giving boots as gifts to those teammates who couldn’t afford to buy new ones.

awwww thats so sweet!!! Yeah whenever I heard him talking about RM you feel how big his heart is. And his madridismo.
Is it just me who thinks he looks like Agüero in that pic?
MFC!!!!! but to be honest all his family is very humble so he was brought up well and he is the sweetest kid!
I am from LA and am a family friend his aunt lives here and yeah his dad is an agent his mom doesnt work and his sis does PR and modeling on the side
And, dear Una, we request the second part of Cris interview………hahaha, very demanding (spoiled?) reader!
Are you going to leave me time to breathe?
Una, take your time, without rushing. We can wait.
hahah actually Una, you REALLY outdid yourself today, six posts!! O.O you are so awesome 😀
He even looks like an angelic kid!
(I am always terribly worried about Valdano and Perez adding him to the menu – he looks like a virgin sacrifice up there)!
he could be the next Raúl. Madrid should keep him at any cost.
that is a killer of a story!!!!!
plzzzzzzzz can someone tell me how we can save pics on RM website?! PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
do you know how to capture a screen shot? If you have a print screen button on your keyboard, you just hit that, then open Paint, or whatever picture manipulation software you use, and then right click to ‘Paste’ the image to the screen. Then, use the crop function to crop out the section of the page you want to keep and ‘Copy to…’ and assign a name. Does that help?
@dina, i don’t thik we can save pics fromRM website i tried too but they just won,y come

Didn’t know the kid played at Getafe 🙂
And he started out at Atleti.
awwwwww…..awwwwww…ha thats all I can say…dying of cuteness 😀 He’s just too adorable. Thx for sharing this with us, Una!!
@xoxoVal: haha you’re one of those extremely lucky people in this world.
@Jenny: “Virgin sacrifice” XXDD looool!! he really does look like that XD
@Robbynho: Totally agreed….and they already refused an offer from Getafe, so they’re on the right track 😀
Omg that was really sweet! :’) I like him a lot!! Hope his future will be great! (I don’t have any doubts.)
Aw, bless his heart! (In the non-barbed way.) Giving his boots to less-well-off teammates. What a gem.
(And — well-off family! We called it, didn’t we?! Um. Not that I spend my time thinking about YFC… *shifts in seat*)
