Nagore Aranburu (also known as the luckiest woman in the world, or Xabi Alonso’s wife), won the “most beautiful national face award” during Glamour Spain’s beauty awards at the Pachá club on Thursday in Madrid. Also at the awards were Álvaro Arbeloa and wife Carlota Ruiz (who tweeted that a “good friend” was about to receive an award). Both couples were looking fantastic (love the pops of color), and I want both Nagore and Carlota’s shoes, and I wouldn’t mind having their men either.

In the video below, Nagore says she’s very happy, content and excited to receive the award, and that her perfect husband (my words) is happy as well, because she normally accompanies him, so this time he gets to accompany her and be super-relaxed. When asked about their two kids, she says they’re both very good, and that while big families are great, right now she wants to enjoy the two of them so they’re not thinking about expanding the family at the moment, especially because Xabi also travels a lot (she does add that he helps out a lot as well). Jealous yet? They’re so perfect it hurts. Nagore is much prettier in motion than in still pictures.
And Xabi says he’s at the gala as an escort, and he’s very happy and proud of Nagore for the award. I love how proud he is of her! You can see it all over his face.
And in this video, Xabi says, “my wife is receiving an award and I’m very content and excited, and very happy to accompany her.” Nagore says, “it was unexpected and it surprised me, and I’m very flattered.” We also find out that her dress is from Azzaro and the shoes are Christian Louboutin.
Life isn’t fair. *cries*
That being said, Nagore is just gorgeous. Xabi is a very lucky guy.

They are so perfect it almost hurts. I need a few minutes to eat/cry over the fact that Xabi Alonso will never look at me in that proud way, but when I’m through I will be very happy for Mrs. Perfect–I mean Alonso–because she is certainly a beauty and deserves her award. =)
I did put aside the sharp objects – so now I’m going to throw myself out of an upper-floor window to save myself time getting them back out!

Una, was Nagore asked about Sara and Iker? I think I caught their names being mentioned by both the interviewer and Nagore.

Yes, she was asked what her thoughts were on them showing off so much PDA during the Madrid Open. She said that it’s obvious that they’re more or less in the beginning of their relationship (compared to her and Xabi), hence the PDA.

I like the use of color but I personally would’ve preferred Carlota’s dress in beige or off-white.
Don’t get me wrong…normally I love Nagore. In fact I think she is one of the prettiest people on earth…but in these pics I do not like her makeup one bit! Too dark of an eyeshadow…I hope Sara isn’t getting to her! And Xabi- he is so handsome it’s unbelievable.
