Yes, but Madrid can include 25 players on their “A” team (not The A-team), so they just decided to add Mendes and Mejías.
so they included Mendes who only just joined Castilla and not one of their best Castilla players who’s been with the club for years if not since the benjamin level? I think that sucks. 😦

Any reason why they decided to specifically include Mendes instead of someone like Nacho who has actually played a full first team match? It’s a VERY strange choice, but then again, it’s Mourinho and Mendes is Portuguese, so I guess it makes sense. I’m still not sure if I’m happy about that.
And Mendes is represented by Jorge Mendes. I’m not too sure about it either.
