following Real Madrid…

adorableness is a Real Madrid thing

On Thursday, all the teams in the cantera took their individual and team photos for the season.  And besides playing for the best club in the world, all the teams and boys had something else in common: they are all adorable.  That’s a good thing, because if they weren’t so adorable, I’d be crying out of frustration right now at seeing all these thumbs up.  They do start them at an early age at Madrid, don’t they?

We also got several glimpses of the future of Real Madrid, ones with ties to the present: Theo Zidane (and his full head of hair), and Alfonso Adán.  Plus, there is a pair of twins in Alevín B, David and Alejandro (they separated them during the team photo so as to not confuse anyone); hopefully they will grow up to play for Madrid together, something I wish could have happened to José and Juanmi!

And this is definitely the behavior of a coach who is not much older than his charges, and one who always has candy while on the bench!  Meanwhile, the Infantil A team could have used some candy, as the photographer made them cry.  It wasn’t by asking them to pose with a thumbs up though (it probably also would have caused tears, to be honest), it was due to the incessant flashes.  ¡Pobrecitos!

Castilla and RMC had more experience in taking the photos, as they’ve been doing this for years.  They knew how to fix their hair, like MFC Álvaro Borja Morata Martín, and throw out poses worthy of The Boss himself, Xabi Alonso.

Or did they?  I love these moments where the sun and the flashes played havoc on their eyes, Jesé fixed up his hair a la Cristiano, Tomy punched Joselu…

… ABMM decided to make the Pedro Mendes-Juanfran moment all about him, until Jorge Casado stopped him because he wanted to be the center of attention, and Derik Osede wasn’t able to keep a straight face.

Adorableness, all around.
