he must be a ‘pseudo-Madridista’

December 17, 2011

In an article about Cristiano Ronaldo off the field, Diego Torres quoted the PR manager in Madrid of a designer franchise.

Whenever he [Cristiano] appears wearing some article of clothing, the next day it sells out.  Not only do boys come by with a photo accompanied by their mothers, but many times his own teammates ask us for the exact same thing that he wore.

If true – and that’s a big if – who do you think these teammates are?  I would say Karim Benzema and Mesut Özil.  As for Sergio, at times he appears in items similar to Cristiano’s, but I believe he arrives at that bad conclusion himself.

Oh boy that’s the saddest thing I ever read…Cristano influencing other people into his fashion style, my biggest fear had happened his teammates too..

As for Ramos, Guti all the blame is on Guti…:p

i agree with everything you wrote Sarah:)

Pepe could be victim of this. Maybe Fabio the vegetable thief too. I think Marcelo is too out there to get wrapped up in this.

Agree that Sergio’s bad choices have nothing to do with CR, but yeah Guti maybe hehe.

Oh man, if this is true, someone needs to stage an intervention. Of people who should be dictating fashion trends, Cris really should not be at the top of that list.

Oh come on you (yeah you, Sergio!) wearing a giant gucci belt buckle won’t make you ‘me pitan por ser rico, guapo, y un gran jugador’!
Something is wrong with our beloved boys, even our capitan can’t be a good role model for the rest of the players.
Mou needs a styling assistant for his team for sure! I think Flo Perez wouldn’t mind to splurge some money for that!

bwhahahaha, sarah, about blaming guti for ramos (you’re not wrong, though!).

i wonder if it’s some of the castilla players who want to be like CR7? i can’t imagine anyone on the first team thinking that’s a good look (except, as you say, ozi and benz). tell you what, i can tell you which of his teammates WASN’T coming in asking to look like him, that’s for sure!

I wouldn’t be surprised if DiMaria is one of the teammates. One thing for sure, we know Xabi’s not one of those teammates. Although, there are a couple of his teammates that should be trying to mirror Xabi’s wardrobe.

ha! don’t like that outfit at all! can someone tell me where he was/what he was doing when that picture was taken?

hahaha that’s hilarious. I think that Sergio’s style comes from within too, which is rather unfortunate =(. As for who I think is influenced by Cris’ style, I think Mesut seems to be the likeliest candidate, maybe even Callejon? O_O

ahahahaahahahhahahahaha!!! oh God!!! Cristiano’s sense of fashion is as bad as Sergio’s… totally agree with you: it has to be mesut and karim the “fashion followers” of Cris!!! Cris is like the cool kid of the block the younger ones try to copy!! What’s with footballers and logos?? I don’t understand why they have to “parade” in shirts, belts, shoes and suitcases that shows off the brand they’re carrying like Gucci, LV, dolce… Why the need of being a walking outdoor??!!!

LOLOLOLOLOLOL, I would agree it must be Karim & Mesult (especially) & also agree that Sergio has already had fashion lessons from the one & only magnificent Guti….although he has his own personal, fantastical twist on it ;D

I love the idea of Mesut fanboying Cristiano enough to go and buy his actual clothes right after he seems him in them.

Its a joke that Ronaldo is stylish… He unfortunately lack the minimal elegance for me, but whatever, doesn’t matter as long as he is able to score goals…
Who is really the most stylish at RM? none? yes.
But Ozil some times appears to have the natural elegance! I think…

the most stylish, Xabi alonso, it is always Alonso, next comes naturally XIT Pirata :p. I like most of Arbeloa wears too.

Diego Torres sees pigs fly… I dont belive anything he says/writes. Hes paranoid with his hatred for RM.

  19. December 19, 2011 09:19

Oh my, yes, I would say Karim & Mesut too! But ~ah, please boys, don’t adopt fashion tips from Cristiano! X’D

    >> As for Ramos, Guti all the blame is on Guti…:p
Ahaha, yeah, that might be true! 😉
